I'm back!
Good morning everyone! I'm back from my spiritual/vocational retreat with the carmalites, it was lovely, but would have been even more lovely if I had discerned what God is calling me to be! Ah well, those are the breaks. Anyway I am very busy with finals lately, I'm just about to start my exam for Math. I have gotten everything else done, Hurrah! Oh wait I've still got Biology! I'm doomed!
Enough about those depressing topics, I have just about started the mad, crazy rush to finish the different christmas gifts for my family and friends. If your like me you have way too many people to get presents for, but too little money to get them anything nice, and too little time to make them really nice things like sweaters. Then I found these lovely felt flower broaches! I have already made about three of them.

I will try to post some pictures of the ones that I have made when I have a little extra time! Til next time!

Hey how's it going?
I always take longer to post something if its after I've done a more serious or important post, and I sure that this one won't compare with the importance of the 180 movie, I strongly recommend you watch. Anyway I have passed the last few days cramming for my biology exam, (which I would be most grateful for prayers for that particular endeavor) and planing my remaining three and a half years of college. Funny how your plans change, I would have never for the world have thought I would be going to college now, five years ago (not even last year!) I have always been a dreamer though, and I will say that many of these dreams don't make it reality always or even the majority of times. Sometimes you want to get angry at God for having different plans for you, but in the end it all works out for the best, even if you never recognise that here on earth. Needless to say, in course of my college plan I have had to make adjustments, like I have changed my major from equine to animal science, not a drastic change, much better to do it now than later. Most of all I am trying to keep my options open, like with an animal science major I can do a lot more things than I could with a equine major. Enough of the boring college stuff know for something actually interesting! Check out my production blog to see the new post on movie review on Little Dorrit . Also don't forget to follow the blog!

A Day in my life...
6 am - Awakened to the sound of a hungry cat, how delight full!
7 am - Catch a ride with some friends to the opening ceremonies of the 40 days for Life in the big city, and on the way playing "tell me ma" on the fiddle, (quite the accomplishment in a moving car if I do say so!) to the accompaniment of a guitar, tin whistle and flute.
8 am - At the abortion mill (the coldest darkest corner of our state) praying, praying, praying!
12 pm - Mass... Hey did you know that is St. Wenceslaus' Fest Day?
1 pm - going to lunch, if we can find the place.... Oh wait there it is!
2 pm - still waiting to severed, I won at the hand game..... almost.
3 pm - Yeah! the food is here, wait, would this count for lunch or dinner? The confusion is to much for me...
5 pm - Long drive back, but seems like nothing when discussing the four temperaments with a friend!
6 pm - Working on school work, that I should have done earlier, oops, still working on the strangest assignment I have ever received for college work. I ask you, how is making a model of cell completely out food suppose to be educating?! Oi, I suppose it doesn't really matter just makes life that much more complicated, and we wouldn't want to make it easy on college students, would we?
7 pm - The powers out, great. What are we suppose to do now? Read?! Well, I suppose I could read the hobbit to you....Now the difficult thing is trying to figure out how to do a convincing Gandalf and dwarf's accents (kinda hard for girl believe it or not).
8 pm - Everyone is in bed without further mishap, thank goodness! And the powers back on, hurrah! I should do more school work, but why ignore the inevitable? I most likely will end up watching McGyver with my papa. Anyway, off to watc.. I mean school work!

A College Students Favorite Prayer
I pray this prayer everyday, and have been very grateful that I found it. I like to dedicate my work to God and this helps me to remeber to do that.
A Student's Prayer
by St. Thomas Aquinus
A Student's Prayer
by St. Thomas Aquinus
Creator of all things,
true source of light and wisdom,
origin of all being,
graciously let a ray of your light penetrate
the darkness of my understanding.
true source of light and wisdom,
origin of all being,
graciously let a ray of your light penetrate
the darkness of my understanding.
Take from me the double darkness
in which I have been born,
an obscurity of sin and ignorance.
in which I have been born,
an obscurity of sin and ignorance.
Give me a keen understanding,
a retentive memory, and
the ability to grasp things
correctly and fundamentally.
a retentive memory, and
the ability to grasp things
correctly and fundamentally.
Grant me the talent
of being exact in my explanations
and the ability to express myself
with thoroughness and charm.
of being exact in my explanations
and the ability to express myself
with thoroughness and charm.
Point out the beginning,
direct the progress,
and help in the completion.
direct the progress,
and help in the completion.
I ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Amen.

I live!
Well almost... I just started my online college courses, I have never been so busy in my life! I'm used to doing my homework at my own pace and usually I would get done at around lunch time (or earlier *muhaha* the wonders of being homeschooled!) And now I'm lucky if I get done before ten at night! I now can sympathise with all college students, though my sister says that it always the first week that is the hardest to get used to. Any way, I'm hoping I can get a year of college done early, and then I hope to spend that extra time double majoring in animal science and equine science. I'm also breaking in my sisters old room, which I got after she went to college. And I had to give up my old room *sniff* after I had just about finished decorating. I had painted, riped up the carpet, and even made a quilt to match! (the room not the carpet) Now I have to start all over again except this time I also have to take out the celling tiles which are full of mold (I just hate mold! which is giving me so nasty headaches!) and we need to put in a full window. As it is, I have two very small windows that just let in enough light so that it seems like it is raining on the sunniest of days. Because of which it has now been christened the dungeon. I going to be doing a re-make of my blog which is I think getting a little to busy. Also it would be nice to have more room for the actual posts. Anyway that's for after school work which I should be getting back to.
